Difference Between Entry Requirement and LSBU Scholarship Requirement

Universities set entry requirements to examine a student’s eligibility for a certain degree. Before choosing and applying for a course, you must have a look at the eligibility criteria list. You can only then proceed with the further application process.

Undergraduate entry

Bangladesh Higher Secondary Certificate: 80%/CGPA 4.5/5.0 or higher
3 passes at GCE A-Level (Grades depend on courses)
International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points or higher
Accredited UK Foundation program: minimum 55-60% or higher
Accredited UK National Diploma (Upper or Lower Credit)
English language requirement: Overall 6 in IELTS and other tests with good points are also acceptable.

Postgraduate entry

Honors Degree of 4-5 years from a reputed university in Bangladesh: CGPA 2.4 – 2.8 out of 4.0 or higher (depending on the institution and LSBU course applied for)
2 years Honors Degree + 2 year Masters Degree from a reputed university in Bangladesh: CGPA 2.4 – 2.8 out of 4.0 or higher (depending on the institution and LSBU course applied for)
Honors Degree from a well-known international university: equivalent to UK Bachelor Degree Second Class Honors or higher
English language requirement: Overall 6.5 in IELTS and other tests with good points are also acceptable.

Eligibility Criteria for LSBU

To be eligible for these , a student must meet some basic criteria:

Unconditional and recent offer letter needed. It should be for a seat of full-time taught undergraduate degree or postgraduate taught degree program.
The student should be a self-funded and international candidate. The taught program also should be at least one year at LSBU.
LSBU will also accept a 3-year degree from a recognized govt. university.
It is important to remember that students will get either an international scholarship or a Merit LSBU scholarship.
