History

The origin of the University of Exeter dates back to 1955. It was converted one after another concerning St. Luke’s College (1838), Exeter School of Science (1855), Exeter School of Art (1863), and the Camborne School of Mines (1888).

In 1900, the Exeter Schools of Science and Art became known as the Royal Albert Memorial College. Then, in 1922, the institution was again converted into a university college in the Southwest. Lastly, in 1955, the institution was given university status and granted a Royal Charter. The University of Exeter comprises three campuses. Among them, Streatham is the largest campus by area. The Superior En suite has modern amenities like a single bedroom as well as an en suite shower room, shared kitchen, single bed, wardrobe, study desk, and chair.
