This year AHZ is delighted to be the Platinum sponsor of the PIEoneer Awards 2024, celebrating innovation and achievement across the global education industry. The awards ceremony will be held at London’s Guildhall on Friday, September 13.

With highly-respected and experienced judges from all around the world, the PIEoneer Awards are all about celebrating the people and organisations that are working hard to make life better for international students.

A night to celebrate innovation and achievement

530 people will be there this year, including 23 of us from AHZ. There will be a large number of education experts, influencers, thought leaders, and influencers from all over the world joining our senior staff, advisory board members, partners, and friends.

It’s a great chance to be inspired by the latest and greatest advancements in education, and to rub shoulders with your peers and other industry professionals.

Finalists from 28 countries, representing organisations big and small, have been recognised for their incredible contributions to education around the world.

Honouring excellence in education

One of the most interesting categories has to be “Emerging leader of the year”, which shines a spotlight on up-and-coming stars in the industry with less than eight years of experience.

Another increasingly important category, “Sustainability international impact”, honours six trailblazers who are making a real difference in reducing the environmental impact of their international operations.

Plus, the “Outstanding contribution to industry” award is packed with familiar faces who’ve made a huge impact on global education.

In the “Student support” category, organisations like Education New Zealand, the University of Sydney, and the University of Bristol have been recognised for their creative and effective ways of helping international students not just survive, but thrive.

Many of the finalists have shared their excitement on social media, expressing how honoured they feel to be acknowledged for their hard work in such a competitive and important field. Congratulations again to you all!
